Dear friends,

We’re officially introducing NeuroMoms Collective; a project born from lived experience, love for our children, and a clear need we saw in the neurotrauma community.

NeuroMoms Collective was founded in October 2025 by two mothers who became frontline caregivers after our children experienced neurotrauma. Since then, what began as something small and deeply personal has grown into a broader effort. We are now an official nonprofit project through Social Good Fund, which allows us to accept financial and in-kind donations and apply for grants.

Our focus is simple: support caregivers, parents, and loved ones navigating life after neurotrauma, a community that is deeply impacted, but often overlooked.

Our work currently includes:

Comfort Kits for caregivers arriving in the Neuro ICU or PICU, practical survival items families often need when a hospital stay begins unexpectedly

Lights On, our podcast featuring honest conversations with caregivers, survivors, loved ones, and neuro specialists

Resources on our website to help caregivers feel more supported, informed, and less alone

We’re also developing art therapy programs for survivors and working to attend neurotrauma and brain health conferences so we can connect with hospitals and care teams and expand support for families.

We believe that supporting caregivers, physically, emotionally, and in ways that honor their identities, beliefs, and sources of strength, is essential to the best possible outcomes for survivors.

If you’d like to support this work, here are a few meaningful ways:

Follow and subscribe to Lights On (available on all major podcast platforms)

Follow us on social media @NeuroMomsCollective

Share our work with someone connected to brain injury or neurotrauma; whether their experience is recent or decades old

Make a donation- $20 helps us create and donate one Comfort Kit to a family in crisis

Introduce us to individuals or businesses who may want to support through financial or in-kind donations

Connect us with community organizations or local grant opportunities

Thank you for being part of our community, and for helping us support families navigating some of the hardest moments of their lives.

With gratitude and optimism,

Erin Palmer & Amanda Ream
